Yes, even more from TopPop, the Dutch music program. I remember this song by John Denver well when it came out in 1974, though this TopPop video was recorded in 1982.

I loved Annie's Song. It was for his wife, whose name was Annie. I was sad that they didn't stay together.
Yeah, it's kind of discouraging when people write romantic songs for someone and later movie on - thinking Eric Clapton and George Harrison both wrote songs about Pattie Boyd bit they both ended up with others.
