Trump promises to turn Gaza into ‘the Riviera of the Middle East.’
President Trump declared on Tuesday that the United States should seize control of Gaza and permanently displace the entire Palestinian population of the devastated seaside enclave, one of the most brazen ideas that any American leader has advanced in years.
Hosting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel at the White House, Mr. Trump said that all two million Palestinians from Gaza should be moved to countries like Egypt and Jordan because of the devastation wrought by Israel’s campaign against Hamas after the terrorist attack of Oct. 7, 2023.

I can only imagine what the Israelis think of this idea, much less the Palestinians, but what strikes me is what Hamas must be thinking.
The terrorists have used the integrity and good intentions of previous US governments against us, playing on our empathy and fairness.
Now Hamas has finally met their match. In Trump they will get an adversary that is totally ruthless and has no interest in being fair. You know, someone like themselves. Maybe they will finally be destroyed after all.

It just seems like Trump is punching buttons and shifting levers, to see what will happen. He doesn't have plans to actually govern America, that I can see. But he has time to stick his nose into foreign affairs that he has no clue about.
He said he wants a nuclear agreement with Iran. We had one, until he torched it last time.
He is blissfully unconcerned with his lack of knowledge on the subject.
