I've just checked out from the library Gregg Allman's autobiograpy, My Cross to Bear. It's a New York Times bestseller and Editors' pick, so hopefully it will be good.

A couple of his songs, the first one from 1973, Midnight Rider, at the Grand Opera House in Macon, Georgia ...
