I've got to ask ... why not Pete? Why do the people behind the scenes in the Democratic party overlook him as a future candidate but instead grab on to a really problematic candidate like Mamdani?
Mamdani can't run for president. Pete can, and he did in 2020. He has more name recognition now, he's no longer a newcomer to the national political scene. I predict we're going to hear more from him.
