Kermit has to go next week for some tests - the vet felt what she thinkcould be a tumor on or near her liver. If you guys are ok with saying prayers for a cat, a few woundn't hurt ..... thanks.
I sure hope Kermit gets better. I'll pray for you both.
Regarding that last post (you deleted) on Reconciliation... You really should avail yourself of the sacramental life of the Church as much as you can.
Reconciliation/Confession, in addition to being a source of grace (and a once-a-year obligation) can be tremendously therapeutic, although I would add this caveat - It makes a big, big difference if you can find a good confessor, and I've found that Jesuits are usually pretty good.
If you can find a good confessor, I think you would be amazed at how unburdened you might feel from the past.
Jeff is right, Crystal. Just go there, sis. You will feel much better. I can tell from experience. And stay close to the Sacraments.Always. Love, Paula
I was very sorry to hear that you too are having pet health troubles. Of course I'll pray for Kermit (Not just because I love the name!). I really hope things work out for both of you.
We had an appointment Wednesday to go for tests, and I chickened out at the last minute and cancelled. I know we have to go, but it's almost like if I don't know for sure about the problem, it won't really be there. I'm so tired of watching my cats get sick, suffer, and then having to have them put to sleep.

pets are like family really.
I blessed my dog Scout with Holy water- my priest didn't have a problem with it! :)
Thanks Rachi :-)
I will pray for Kermit, be sure.
Thank, Paula. I'm really worried about her, given that she already has kidney disease.
I know dear Crystal...I can understand very well...Tzutzu has a sensitive pancreas and sometimes he is sick.
Thanks again :-)
Crystal,

Hi Jeff,
there's a Jesuit high school not too far from me - maybe I could see what the priests/mass is like there.

Thanks Cura. I hope your puppy is better soon too.
I'll pray for Kermit and even light a candle on my next candle-lighting visit.
Thanks William :-)
Hey, how did Kermit's trip to the vet go this week?

Crystal, sorry to hear about Kermit. I'll continue praying for him. I know it's tough, but try to stay positive.
