The latest podcast at Professor Mark Goodacre's NT Pod blog is NT Pod 16: Did Jesus' Ministry Last Three Years?, which brings up the difference that can exist between what's actually in the New Testament and what's popularly perceived to be so. Mark's particular example is the length of Jesus' public ministry, almost universally thought to have been three years, the idea of which owes more to Origen and Eusebius than to the gospels. It's a very interesting listen :)

I decided to listen to what was said about Jesus' Ministry and when I heard that some are questioning the length of His Ministry, I asked My Jesus in prayer how long His Ministry really lasted and these are a few of the thoughts which came to mind.
Victor, Victor, Victor! I've given you the serenity to accept the things that you can't change and still you continue to plow forward as if what I placed in your heart meant nothing. Because My Love is Endless I'll try again in hope that "IT" is not all in vain for sinner vic so here goes.
My Father so loved His Words that He created for His Loving Children who were to become in His Own Image and so because "IT" didn't turn out as planned, He still Loved U>S so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son about 2,045 years ago which is but a moment for My Heavenly Father. Then He sent His Ghost and of His Own Free Will, about 2,045 years ago, He asked our Blessed Spiritual Mother if She would talk to our reality Blessed Virgin Mother Mary through an Angel and of Her Own free Will, Blessed Earthly Virgin Mary
accepted to carry "The Word of Our Heavenly Father" as a Blessed Fruit in Her Womb. Mary carried "The Son of God" for about nine earthly months and with the help of Her Beloved Husband Joseph, they walked until "IT" was time and all they could find was a Stable and between you and me, that's the way some of the spiritual animals wanted "IT" and because God wanted them to have free will he went along with "IT" and our Heavenly Father was so happy that "IT" became known to some alien gods who wanted to meet "The Child" so He created a star to show them the way. These so called wise men were so amazed that they each gave "This Holy Family" a special gift and.................
Excuse me for interrupting Lord but why have I never heard as a child where those gifts went to and/or what they were used for? I've heard that "The Jews" were your first children and there's times when I think that for some reason, "IT" might have been them that "The Holy Family" gave "The Gifts" of "The Wise Men" to. As a child, God Bless His Soul but my uncle Henrie use to call some people "Jews" when he thought they were found to be tight with their money!

Apparently He won't tell me now but between you, me and any others who might be interested, that 'His' Jesus Ministry, started before He was born and is still going forward and we've all got free will. Go Figure! :)
I guess He's finished with me for now crystal and I hope you won't stop praying for me and maybe you might ask others to also say a little prayer for me to The Lord Our God and that's not you sinner vic! :(
crystal! Some of Victor's cells are just as bad as every other human cells cause deep down inside, he won't believe also unless he sees with his own eyes but I ask you, is that so bad?
Happy are those cells who believe and have not seen!
