Hey crystal what's wrong with same-sex-marriage is not the question here is "IT" cause if "IT" was then "IT" probably wouldn't be in the courts or would "IT" be?
So "IT" must boil down to free choice for gays and lesbian and whether their children might be forced or brain washed into creating a normal family in their eyes.
I think that these groups should follow sinner vic cause he promises that when I turn 66 that he'll give them their own world dimension where they can freely kiss each others butts in private and no one will judge them. They'll be free to clone their own children and sinner vic will forgive them all as long as he gets to share in their pleasure. His argument is that even maggots get to have a little happiness while they are producing so why can't they also multiply in privacy cause didn't a wise man once say that the government has no rights in the bedrooms of any nation.
The question I believe is as a Christians should be; What does God think about marriage of opposite sexes and should we allow "IT"?
I'll close by saying that as usual crystal, we'll most likely need to continue to agree to disagree on whether this hole situation is a misfit for humanity and keep praying about "IT".
I must also say that prayers coming my way are always welcome as long as "ONE" of JESUS' Cell is leading the way.

Over here in the UK I believe we have a thing called Civil Partnership, which is similar to marriage for those of same sex, but not called marriage. To me, this solves the problem entirely, and so far as I know, there is no campaigning or lawsuits outstanding about it.
The solution is so simple that I can't help feeling that in America they prefer fighting than compromise.

We have civil partnerships here too but I'd argue that for many people marriage and civil partnerships are not perceived of as equal in worth. I don't think it's that we over here prefer fighting but that we like things to be straightforward and upfront. This is maybe why the Anglican Church, which has its share of gay bishops with partners but which doesn't openly ordain them, is so different on the issue than the Episcopal Church, which does (and is now in trouble in the Communion).
