I know exactly how you feel Crystal. My favorite cat was Georgia, a beautiful Siamese, and when she died I cried like a baby. (The only bad thing was that I was told she died while I was at work and so I was soooo embarrassed!) I no longer have cats but I often think of them at night - pets are really a great blessing.
noticed you participating on a historical jesus thread about crossan, where my comments do not seem to be appearing. thought I would post you directly.
I would say the two best books in history jesus study are Schweitzer’s _the quest of the historical jesus_, and Struass’s _the life of jesus critically examined. Both freely available to read on line
Hey crystal, yes, i love it when people leave suggestions of things I can read right now, instead of just putting them on my to buy/library, and one day perhaps read. links are great. glad you appreciate it. email me any time to tell me what you think if you read them.
My cat Lee looked just like that cat - same size, same coat! Unfortunately, Lee died a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteHi Henry,
ReplyDeleteI had four cats, a mom and three babies, but the last one, Kermit, died almost 2 years ago. Still miss them.
