LOL How do you find these weird articles?! And now to answer your question, a bit late:Army service is compulsory for all Jewish 18 year olds, boys and girls. But many are exempt, e.g. the ultra Orthodox.
Heh - I read the science news at google :)Oh interesting. Orthodox are like conscientious objectors?
