Coming home

Thinking about the ending of Inception. It's a scene in which everyone (on a plane landing in the US) wakes from the shared dream and the main character realizes he has made the impossible happen: after years of exile he's no longer a fugitive and can finally go home to be with his children (or is he still in the dream?).
