Grandma and grandpa's house
A photo on Dina's blog reminded me of where my grandparents lived ... on a street named after the Palm trees that lined either side. Loved that street :) Many of the palm trees are now gone, but I looked on Google maps and managed to snap a couple of not so great screen captures of the street now ...

Nice. I hope our Hebron Street will look as green and shaded as your grandparents' street someday.
Just before our local elections recently a disgruntled citizen went around saying how many millions the mayor had wasted on palm trees.

The good news might be that palm trees last a long time - those ones on my grandparent's street have been there almost forever.
