Did anyone doubt this was coming? How could they, knowing we now live in a banana republic, ruled by a despot. We'd better buckle up - the retribution is far from over.

Did anyone doubt this was coming? How could they, knowing we now live in a banana republic, ruled by a despot. We'd better buckle up - the retribution is far from over.

So petty and vindictive. And chilling on anyone who dares to blow the whistle on him. I an beyond disappointed in my state's senators. The only one who had a spine was Romney. The ones who spoke up have to endure Trump's abuse, but they will go down in history as honorable people.
Yeah, I feel kind of guilty for previously thinking so badly of Romney. He does seem to be a conscientious person.
I see that yesterday Trump sent out about 30 trash-talking tweets, including one about Rep. Deb Dingell, bashing her for daring to vote against him in the impeachment trial. Not to mention a bunch of others he has a grudge against. Maybe the best strategy is just to let him keep ranting and raving, make sure his words are publicized. Honestly, I don't think he's playing with a full deck.
Deb Dingell, whose late husband Trump implied was now in hell. He has been saying all this awful stuff from even before he was elected (acess hollywood tape) and Republicans seem to be fine with it. Polls say 95% of Republicans now think he's doing a good job. I think they actually like the way he is. That's the real horror story - that almost half of the country shares Trump's values.
