Vicky update
Vicky is still a prisoner in my mom's room. You can see in the photo how his head hair, which they trimmed closely, still hasn't grown back much yet. We visited the vet a little over a week ago and he said Vicky's wound is almost all the way healed, but did not want us to let him out yet. We have another appointment in a little over a week.
I'm actually dreading deciding what to do with Vicky once he is better. Yoda is very upset that Vicky is inside and I'm afraid they will get in fights if I let Vicky stay in. But if he goes outside, Timmy will probably beat him up again - this is the third time we have had to take Vicky to the vet after Timmy has woulned him. Also, I'm just pretty overwhelmed with what are now 15 cats. Arghhhhh!

Sorry Crystal! Maybe Timmy is the one who needs to leave, is there any way he can be relocated somewhere else? Is Vicky tame enough that he could be adopted by someone who didn't have other cats?
I have been trying to get rid of Timmy for some time. We caught him and took him to the county animal control place in hopes they would find him a new home, but they wouldn't take him because they don't accept people's pets. They said we had to give him to the SPCA. So then I signed up for that. They have a long list. I did get to the top of the list a couple of times, but on the day I was supposed to take him, I couldn't catch him. He has now figured out what both of my traps are for and as soon as he sees them now he runs away. I'm on the list again - must think of a more devious plan this time before I get to the top. Vicky is very tame. I was hoping the vet would adopt him because he liked him so much, but he already has 3 cats.
Our highest count, when we lived in Sac., was 16. Beat ya by 1. But it was CAZYMAKING. Yule find a way. (-;
Hi Steve. I should add one possum to that count. I was just out in the garage, cleaning the litter box, and a possum I call Reggie was in there on one of the cat furnitures with the cats. He's either used to me or paralyzed with fear, because he doesn't run away when he sees me anymore. I sure hope Reggie is a boy.
