Canada

In the US, citizens overwhelmingly want tougher gun laws. Democrats in Congress have trried endlessly to pass gun safety legislation. But nothing changes, because of Republicans. At best, politicians wrangle over side issues like mental health, while states pass laws that have turned our country into a tv version of the wild west. Republicans so love the illusion of power their guns give them, that they are daily sacrificing their own children on its alrar.

I don't think Americans understand how truly insane this is. We should look to other countries like Canada to see how they have kept gun violence to a minimum.
