I'm a few days late, but 60 years ago, the Beatles came to New York and appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show - I recall watching it.

That same year on their 1964 North American tour, the Beatles also came to San Francisco, appearing at the Cow Palace. My sister and I were at the concert. I was 13.
