Ending the shutdown
Lawrence, who once worked in the Senate, does a great job of explaining why the fact that some of the Democratic senators voted to end the shutdown was not some terrible and traitorous mistake on their part.

That's a good video. Ending the shutdown is good if you have Snap benefits, are a federal worker not getting paid, are traveling somewhere by plane and need it to be safe. Holding out for perfect doesn't work in the real world. A shutdown prolonged further isn't sustainable. And Trump isn't a negotiating partner, he's a sadist.
Yes, those are my thoughts too.
