For some reason I started thinking of a part of Saint Patrick's Prayer and the part goes like this:
I arise today Through the strength of heaven: Light of sun, Radiance of moon, Splendor of fire, Speed of lightning, Swiftness of wind, Depth of sea, Stability of earth, Firmness of rock.
I think that he was trying to tell us that if we trust in God we will not need to worry about our daily "Rising"
Crystal, if you can get the audio version, check out the book Cadillac Desert for the fascinating back story on Mulholland, Owens Valley, the Dam, and the creation of the LA Dept of Water and Power. We lived in LA in the early 90’s during a period of serious energy concerns and water shortages but there was the LA DWP building front and center all lights and fountains 24/7.

What do you think Crystal?
Thanks Victor. That's a beautiful poem, full of trust.
Chinatown and Global Warming... Yes.
Great movie. But tough.

Thanks, Richard. I'll look that book up.
