The man born blind
I'm listening to a 2006 Lenten audio retreat given by Larry Gillick SJ and the one I heard today was about John 9 - the man born blind. It's really an interesting talk, titled "EIGHTH CONFERENCE" if you want to listen to it. It reminded me of a video of that scene from the movie Jesus of Nazareth (and btw, I have a few other posts on the movie Jesus of Nazareth here, here, and here) .....

I want to check out some of the Jesuit stuff once I'm finished. It's funny, I'm surrounded by Jesuits, but I've never had the chance to do the Spiritual Exercises.
Hi Liam. I'd like to someday try a real retreat too - I've only done that online one. Do you belong to a Jesuit parish?
No, but one of my colleagues and best friends is a Jesuit (he also married us and was the godfather for Lukas' baptism), so we know quite a few through him.
He must be your source for Jesuit jokes? :)
