La Cité de Dieu
I've just spent some time looking at illustrations from Augustinus, La Cité de Dieu, Boek I-X (vertaling uit het Latijn door Raoul de Presles) Parijs, Maître François (verluchter); c. 1475-1480 at Museum Meermanno and Koninklijke Bibliotheek, The Hague: Interactive Presentation of Handwritings. Here are a couple of examples from the 11 pages of pics ....

I know that "La Cité de Dieu" is French for "The City of God" but I looked at many of the pictures and found "IT" a very interesting way of life back then but I could not understand what "IT" said.
I hear ya! Victor I thought you said in a pass post of mine that you could read a little of every language but "Greek"?
That's what I said crystal and this is "Greek" to me. :)
Hi Victor :)
