Privet
The privet trees are full of tiny pollen-filled panicle flowers now (achoo!) and when I walked by one of them today I heard a loud hum - zillions of bees were all over it :) Though the berries are poisonous for people, cedar waxwings love them and swarm over the trees here when the berries are ripe.

Good for the bees. Sounds like it's another species in decline from reports I've heard in recent years.
Crystal, can you do me a favor when you get the chance? I'm having a bizarre experience with my comments thread. Long story short is comments appear and disappear like magic. I've never seen anything like it.
