Arctic Cathedral

- Arctic Cathedral

I'm still reading books in that Star Trek: Titan series and the latest one, Star Trek: The Fall: The Poisoned Chalice, has a scene set in the beautiful Norwegian town of Tromsø, where the Arctic Cathedral lives. You can see the cathedral at the bottom of the bridge ...

Some other pics of the town (all are from Wikipedia Commons) ...

Sounds like a fun book. Just read a great apocalyptic sf novel by Peter Heller; Dog Stars. Wish there was a way to trade e-books...Is there?

I read Dog Star, at least part of it, I think. It was about a man who's wife had died and he flew a plane?

I think some kindle books used to be loanable to others through Amazon - don't know if that's still possible.

Somme of the books in that star trek series I'm reading weren't very good, but a few seem really good, like the one I'm reading now.

Yep, excellent plot summary. Wife died (along with 97.5% of the population of the world) and he flew a plane...and their was a dog. Don't forget the dog, who also dies :( but then he meets this woman and... well you know the rest. I guess I'm ready for a little Star Trek:)

Yeah, I stopped reading it because it was so grim. Still, The Road still wins the apocalyptic grimness award, I think ;)
