The deniers
The death toll in the US for today from coronavirus = 2,733. This total will go up over the coming days, helped along by the over 2 dozen indoor and maskless Christmas parties the White House is planning.
In a rush to a vaccine, in ou r rush to get life back to normal .... it's important we never forget who the [virus] deniers were. Because those 270,000 mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, husbands and wives, they aint coming back. So it's imcumbent on all of us to honor their memory.

All the Republican politicians, the pundits of conservative media, the Trump base of voters who freely chose their avatar, Trump's feckless administration, and of course Trump himself ..... we can't just turn the page and forget their contribution to the virus death toll. To paraphrase George Santayana, if we let it go, we will get more of the same.

My sister and brother in law have Covid. She had it first and is getting better. She doesn't know how she got it, she has been very careful. He is having a rougher time because of preexisting health issues. Hopefully they are both going to recover successfully, but it's a long ordeal, it's not like the flu or a cold.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope they both recover fully! It's getting more and more scary here too with a new stay at home order on the way.
