Bye Kevin

Kevin McCarthy lost his speakership, in part because Democrats wouldn't save him. Don't feel sad. The idea that someone worse than Kevin will take his place is questionable ... he was a liar and an obsequious Trump-toady.

Of course, someone like Jim Jordan becoming speaker is an awful idea, but awful is what we should expect. The Republican party is in its death throes. It won't be a pretty process.
