Stepford world
When I watched this, I thought ... thank God, it's not just me! As I see people who should know better sucking up to Trump, I've been astonished and horrified. Did everyone turn into a Stepford citizen after the election or did they never really believe what they professed before?
I get it - it's a version of battered woman syndrome. You are in the power of a scary bad person you can't beat and can't get away from, so you do wahtever you must to survive, and maybe even start to believe that you deserve this. Well, suck it up Democrats. I expect more from you.

I hate what they did to Joni Ernst. She basically got threatened and bullied into saying she wouldn't speak against Hegseth. She is more qualified to be Defense secretary than he is. But she won't get any position and will probably get primaried for daring to oppose him.
Yes "Stepford Wives" is exactly right about how they're acting.
Yes, I've been listening to how her comments about him have changed, probably because of all the pressure. I guess all the Republican politicians think that since there will be an essential dictatorship, they better be on the side that is on top. depressing.
