The future of Hamas

Why Arab Leaders Are Struggling to Agree on Hamas’s Future Role in Gaza

An interestin article in The Wall Street Journal about how the different Arab countries view the future governance of Gaza. They all have different ideas about who should be in charge in Gaza after the war but there is one thing they all agree on .... none of them want Palestinians from Gaza to come live in their countries.

I would say that's not because they believe Palestinians belong in Gaza .... they all have Palestinan citizens .... but they know all to well how disruptive it would be to have Gazans and the many terrorist groups that are part of their population move in with them.

It's time for the Arab states to man-up and deal with the problem of terrorism in Gaza, and that doesn't mean handing Gaza over to the PA (the PLO). The Arab states have made Israel be the sheriff for too long and at too much cost.

Finally, they might do it, because they believe the new US president is such a wild card that he may actually go ahead with "Trump Gaza".
