Remember just a few days ago when Senator Joni Ernst had a town hall meeting of her constituents to discuss the coming Medicaid cuts? And a woman in the audience called out that people were going to die because of the cuts? And Ernst responsed "we're all going to die"? ...
Well, as bad as that was ... a nihilist telling her voters that she isn't going to help them, but will instead kick them and their families to the curb to die ... it gets worse.
Ernat has now posted another video, both sarcastic and condescending. She's at a graveyard, apologizing (not) for telling people the truth about our mortality, and then telling everyone to embrace death and come to Jesus () ...
Someone should tell her, Jesus is not the God of the dead, but of the living (Matthew 22:32)

Dang, I couldn't believe that! Because what do you do when you dig yourself into a hole, you just keep digging and make it deeper. In ordinary times that would have been a career ender.
I think I liked Marie Antoinette's " let them eat cake" better. To invoke Jesus in the context she used is truly taking the Lord's name in vain.
Yeah, she seems unaware that Jesus told people to help the poor.
