Which God?

Pete Hegseth quotes the Bible… but uses Pulp Fiction version

I've got to ask - which God does the Trump administration worship? All Hegseth's prayers seem to be made from combinations of video games, movies, and misquotes from the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible.

Though Trump has posted pictures of himself as Jesus and with Jesus, it's unclear if he has any knowledge of what Jesus actually did and said in the New Testament. It may come as news to him that Jesus wasn't a warmonger but advised people to forgive their enemies. Oh, and Trump may also be disturbed to learn Jesus wasn't a fan of rich people.

I think what this is all about is a fragile regime trying to use religion to control the narrative. But Christianity is a religion of and for the oppressed, not the oppressors.
