This Day Last Year
Last August 31st, my cat Spot died. Nine days later, her mother, Grendel, also died. Both had kidney disease. I still miss them.

My condolences, Crystal. I'm going to cat sit for my mother's elderly calico next week. Poor thing, deaf and insecure creature she is. But sweet.

Has it really been a year? I still think Grendel was a stunningly beautiful cat.
