Internet censorship

I never realized how much I rely on Wikipedia until last night when it shut down to protest Internet censorship. It looks like these online protests are bearing fruit .... Web Protests Piracy Bills, and Senators Change Course

BTW, I also opposed this becuase I am against "government" intrusion! (I wrote to my representatives!) I am convinced that "privacy" is not going to exist if things keep going the way they are going. And yes, I might just be paranoid about this! ;)

We actually agree on many things it just seems like we don't because of our communication styles.

For example, I am against the trafficking and enslavement of women and children (especially as sex workers, where it seems to happen most), illegal organ harvesting (which I don't often see discussed), cruelty to animals, unwanted destruction of the environment (like your article about the rain forest), etc. - all things which I think we agree on.

But, we always debate about the things we don't see eye to eye on, which is often sad.
