Fr. Roy Bourgeois, a brave and committed peace activist for 40 years, has been laicized, excommunicated, and expelled from his order - I'm amazed they didn't try to burn him at the stake as well. Meanwhile, Bishop Finn, convicted of covering up the sex abuse of children, gets not even a reprimand from the church.

Yeah - he's pretty impressive, huh.
I know it sounds cynical, but it seems like what the guys at the top fear the most are challenges to their authority, That's why Bishop Finn being a criminal is no big deal for them - he was protecting their system.

Look Victor for what "IT" is worth, we gods no longer burn human flesh at the stake so that should make Crystal feel a LOT better. :)
