A peacenik no more

I'm checking to see if hell has frozen over: I actually agree with Republican Mitt Romney about something ...

Ever since I was a teen during the Vietnam war, I have been a peacenik, pretty much a pacifist. But I guess I'm not that anymore. Not sure why exactly that's changed.

He makes a pretty convincing case.

I think there is bi-partisan support for giving them the aircraft to fly themselves. I'm worried that by the time they decide to do it, it will be too late to really help.

IF we keep drawing red lines that we step back from and Putin steps over. then we are ceding to him the rulership of the world! Time to stand resolute. The man has lost his bearings.

Hi Steve. Every day I watch the news and see videos of what's happening to the people in the besieged cities, living underground, no food, no water, no medicine. Old people, children, animals. I don't know if Putin has flipped his wig or if he is just straight up evil. Either way, he's a menace to everyone.

I think Putin is a thug, more than he is insane, but definitely he is evil. I say thug because I believe he is motivated by the desire to take what Ukraine has, for Russia. Ukraine has fertile farmland, and I read that they raise one fourth of the world's wheat. They also have considerable mineral resources, and a better climate than much of Russia. He feels that Russia is entitled to what Ukraine has. He has never accepted that they are an independent country. If pne fourth of the world's wheat is not able to be grown this year because of the war, it will cause famine.

Not surprising that Putin and Trump get along so well.
