The Rings of Power

I've been watching season 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power ...

an American fantasy television series .... Based on J. R. R. Tolkien's history of Middle-earth .... It begins during a time of relative peace and covers the major events of Middle-earth's Second Age: the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the fall of the island kingdom of Númenor, and the last alliance between Elves and Men.

I would say the main character is that of Sauron, who is bent on getting the rings made, with which he plans to control the elves, dwarves, and men.

This season is pretty good - we get to see Tom Bombadil, a mysterious character from the books who didn't make it into the movies. And there are Ents. And there's a sea monster :) ...



I'm really enjoying the series - if you liked the books and movies, you might like it too.
