Are they nuts?? You and I are old enough to remember the polio epidemic before everyone got the shots. Jonas Salk was hailed as a hero, deservedly. I was lucky, I didn't get polio and did get vaccinated ( it was three shots over a period of time.) But there were kids I went to school with who had lifelong disabilities.
And long before that there was whooping cough and diptheria. I remember children's graves in our cemetery back home. My grandma said they died of diptheria
I hope people push back hard on RFK's nomination. Some say he's not as dangerous as Tulsi Gabbard. I think he's worse.
Yes, I remember getting the sugar cube with the vaccine on it when I was in school, so I must be ancient ;) I think he is really dangerous, in part because some people trust him because he's a Kennedy.
