The bluejay

The bliejay died during the night. I'm afraid that by catching him we may have just made things worse for him instead of helping him. So sad :( See you in heaven, little bird.

You gave him a safe warm place to be. That was kind and thoughtful. At least he had a chance, I don't he would have otherwise, at least not with the cats in our neighborhood.

Yes, just after we caught him, Scruffy, the naughty cat from next door, was sniffing around the stop he had just been occupying.

Tonight I wrapped him up and buried him under the orange tree.

I hate to say "IT" but long story short, you don't let our "Tiger" next to a bird cage cause that bird eventually becomes history.

I hear ya! Cats will be cats. :)
