When I feel down, I go outside and then things seem not so bad. Today I saw the blue jay trying to decide if it was safe to get a peanut ....
There are still some oleander flowers ...
My neighbor's cat gave me the gimlet eye ...
And I knew there was a squirrel up high in the pecan tree eating nuts because I could hear him nibbling, but I couldn't see him :) ...

Ah, so that's a gimlet eye. So what's a sloe eye??
'Gimlet' always makes me think of some kind of alcoholic beverage :) 'Sloe' too - isn't there some kind of sloe wine?
Sloe gin fiz (bleh) I think sloe eyed is different. I know, I'll ask google:)
