Veterans Day
My father was a veteran of the Korean war. When he came back from there, he was changed for the worse - all the men in his unit had been killed but him. Shortly after that my parents got divorced. I was 3 and my sister was a baby. We never saw or heard from him again. I wish there had been a program like this one for him.

I think that my father had PTSD from Korea too. We didn't realize it at the time, we probably would have cut him some more slack if we realized it, but it was what it was. Water under the bridge now...
Hi Jeff. Yeah, it was so much harder back then for people to share their struggles.
