The warmth of collectivism

The new mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, says ... We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.

I'm not a fan of rugged individualism as a government policy, but Mamdani really needs to update his vocabulary from the Soviet Bloc script.

In character, on his first day, Mamdani also has done away with the previously existing banning of BDS, synagogue protest bans, and the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's definition of antisemitism.
