- The Fifth Estate .... a 2013 American-British-Belgian thriller film about the news-leaking website WikiLeaks. ... with Benedict Cumberbatch as its editor-in-chief and founder Julian Assange.

- Inception ... a 2010 British-American science fiction heist thriller film written, co-produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan. The film stars a large ensemble cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio.

- The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

- Upside Down ... 2012 Canadian-French romantic science fiction film written and directed by Juan Diego Solanas, starring Jim Sturgess [Across the Universe] and Kirsten Dunst.

- Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit ... a 2014 American action thriller film, directed by and co-starring Kenneth Branagh. Chris Pine, Kevin Costner and Keira Knightley star in leading roles. The film features the fictional Jack Ryan character created by author Tom Clancy.

- Captain America: The Winter Soldier

- Minority Report ... a 2002 American neo-noir science fiction thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and loosely based on the short story of the same name by Philip K. Dick. It is set primarily in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia in the year 2054, where "PreCrime", a specialized police department, apprehends criminals based on foreknowledge provided by three psychics called "precogs". The cast includes Tom Cruise as PreCrime Captain John Anderton, Colin Farrell as Department of Justice agent Danny Witwer, Samantha Morton as the senior precog Agatha, and Max von Sydow as Anderton's superior Lamar Burgess. The film is a combination of whodunit, thriller and science fiction

- Edge of Tomorrow ... a 2014 American science fiction film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Doug Liman directed the film based on a screenplay adapted from the Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
