Some carnations ....
And the magnolia tree, which is always looking like it's about to croak, has a flower way up high ...
The blue jays have a couple of babies - I haven't seen them but I can hear them - and the adults are busy finding them snacks ...
Meanwhile, Scruffy (or alternate-Scruffy?) looks on with interest ...

Good shots! Who is Scruffy?
Hi Susan,
Scruffy belongs to my neighbor across the street. She spends a lot of time in my yard, though. And now there's a boy cat belonging to my neighbor next door who comes over a lot too. He looks almost identical to Scruffy and I don't know his name so he's "alternative-Scruffy" :)
